  • Annotazioni
  • The R209 Mk2 reception set is an improved version of the R209 general-purpose receiver. Antenna connections for wire/rod and for dipole ca. 80 ohms, with antenna-trimmer. Frequency range in 4 bands 1,0-2,3 MHz, 2,3-5,6 MHz, 5,5-12,5 MHz, 12,0-20,0 MHz. Sigal modes AM/CW/FM. Variable BFO with audio-peak-filter at 950 Hz. The FM-mode is present because of the existing R209 circuitry, but it is rather useless. For FM reception V8 is used as an amplifier-limiter and the diode-section becomes a discriminator, but FM was never introduced in the R209 frequency-range.. There is an IF-signal-out connector, and the power input is now for a 12 volts battery . The RF-amplifier is changed to a CV131 in stead of the 1T4, and a CV284 stabilizer replaces the 9512S. The oscillator coils are modified and compensated to achieve better frequency-stability. New is a dial-lock and a 12 volts fuse-holder at the place of the spare desiccator. A further development is the R209/2/B with a choice for 4 different power sources.
