Die Tandemschiene dient der Aufnahme von zwei Mikrofonhaltern, vorzugsweise für stereofone Mikrofonaufnahmen.
Die Aufnahmegewinde sind im Abstand von 15 cm angeordnet und lassen sich drehen bzw. nach unten umrüsten.
Alle Gewinde sind in ½-Zoll ausgeführt (Neumann-Gefell), als Trageschiene wurden Aluminium- und Eisenausführungen verwendet.
