The 10C/11072 Cavity Tuner is used for manually adjusting the resonant frequency of a coaxial cavity. Rotation of the 0.25" diameter shaft allows the position of the silver-plated electrode disc to be moved over a range of about 0.5". Since the central 2BA 4.7 mm diameter screw has a thread pitch of 0.81 mm, this is achieved with just over 15 turns of the shaft.

    Overall dimensions 2 x 1.5 x 2 inches fully closed; 2 x 2 x 2 inches fully open.
Disc diameter 2". Thickness 2 mm. Silver plated.
A friction device prevents the shaft from turning in the case of vibration.
All parts of the tuner including fasteners are non-magnetic.
