  • Wireless set No. 15: Long range transmitter covering 3 - 22,2 MHz (low power 3 - 25,6 MHz), AM (A3), SSB, CW (A1), FSK (F1) pout 6 kW in DSB/AM mode and up to 30 kW in SSB;
    powered by 380 - 415 V three phase mains;
    used by British Army for point-to-point long range communications in Army Chain Stations established at different locations worldwide. The earlier high speed morse operation has been replaced by FSK (Baudot) radioteletype. The COMCAN system remained operational until the late 1960s.
    The Army Chain Station transmitter Wireless Set No.15 / E10 replaced the early Wireless Set. No.5 which was high speed morse telegraphy only.
