  • Wireless Set No.62: narrow range shortwave transceiver covering 1,6 - 10 MHz in two ranges (1,6-4/4-10 MHz), CW (A1) and AM (A3) modes; RF output power CW 0,8-1,1 Watts, AM 0,5-0,8 Watts.
    Powered by 12 V vehicle accumulator, internal rotary transformer for 340 V HT. 8, 14 or 32 foot rod for mobile use, wire aerial for ground station use.
    Wireless Set No.62 is a general purpose low-power transceiver with a similar appearence and frequency coverage as the Wireless Set No.19, suitable as low power ground station, vehicle station, animal or manpack set. The transceiver is immersion proof for 5 minutes and late models stable enough for parachute dropping.
    The set replaces Wireless Set No.22.
