  • Notes
  • RT-176/PRC-10 is somewhat different from RT-176A/PRC-10, but the general shape, transmit power ca. 0,9 Watt, and frequency range 38-55 MHZ are the same.
In literature PRC-10 and PRC-10A are seperated, but on the equipment the PRC-A suffix is never to be seen, only RT176 or RT-176A.
At the top the left part of the control-panel is raised.
VFO tuning, and a crystal calibrator stage, giving 1 MHz checkpoints.
In the receiver part we find 2 RF-stages, 5 IF-stages, a discrimator FM-detector with 2 germanium diodes, and a squelch circuit.
In the transmitter part we find an extra driver-circuit in comparison with the similar -A variant. The net weight is inclusive the 3,65 kg. multi-voltage battery.
