Hello,

I am restoring this particular radio and am wondering if it would it be possible for the poster of this schematic to do a re-scan? Unfortunately the schematic posted is too blury and impossible to read.

Many Thanks

Your are quite right and I will ask the Schematic Admin, Arpad Roth, to contact the uploader, Andreas Hahn who most probably will not read something else but German. I hope you soon get a better plan. Please answer here if there is no result within 7 days.

I don't know if you saw them: Arpad had them as originals and has prepared and uploaded them (two halfs). I see that they are excellent - magnifying by 400 % everything without any pixeling - and well readable.

Me again. I measured the resistance on the bridge rectifier. The measurements were .6 megaohms in one direction and .5megaohms in the other. I removed the rectifier and pulled it apart. The cathode plates were almost burnt looking. Would you or anyone know how I can repair or replace this part? Please keep in mind, I am new at this.

Thanks

Greg

Dear Greg
I just notice that you did not receiva an answer yet.
There are some members who are reluctant to answer if the poster has never done something for RMorg. They normally don't notice that you are also a new member, not only "new at this".

You could for instance take a photo of the chassis and the "back wall" and load it to the model to get UACS points. The model misses these but shows the schematics.

Go to the model page please and click the apropriate link, read the blue info buttons (after clicking them). If you also read this HOWTO-article it will be very easy - and you get some new friends who help you ;-)

For your problem: I would not advise to repair this part. You would normally also not rebuild a tube. Buy an other one. If you don't get a selenic (I presume that it is still one of these if it id "dead") you can build it with 4 Si-Diodes but would have to introduce a small resistant to get the same relations (voltage). Si-Diodes have a low inner resitancy).
