Compact moving‑coil galvanometer by Robt. W. Paul, London, intended for low‑voltage indication. The instrument has a pivoted moving‑coil movement, mirrored scale, front zero‑adjuster and two binding‑post terminals. Scale marked 0–2.4 mV with an internal resistance of 10 Ω at 20°C. Wooden case with glass window.

Dial marked “Robt. W. Paul, London”, indicating manufacture before or shortly after the 1919 amalgamation with the Cambridge Scientific Instrument Co. The KY‑157 appears to be a catalogue type number. Intended for telephony, bridge circuits and general electrical testing rather than high‑sensitivity laboratory work.
