Compact moving‑coil galvanometer by Robt. W. Paul, London, intended for low‑voltage indication. The instrument has a pivoted moving‑coil movement, mirrored scale, front zero‑adjuster and two binding‑post terminals. Scale marked 0–2.4 mV with an internal resistance of 10 Ω at 20°C. Wooden case with glass window.
Dial marked “Robt. W. Paul, London”, indicating manufacture before or shortly after the 1919 amalgamation with the Cambridge Scientific Instrument Co.
