  • Philips RC generator model GM2317 /02.

    Principle: Wien-bridge RC-oscillator using incandescent lamps as PTC to stabilise loop gain and distortion.

    Frequency range 20 Hz-250 kHz in 6 ranges.

    Output voltage 10 Veff to a load of 2000 ohms or higher.

    Other significant components: 4x OA70 diodes as signal rectifier for the output meter; 4x 8099Z incandescent lamp.
    Diodes and lamps only listed once per type.

    Model is identical to GM2317/01 except that the output voltage has been changed from 11.5 to 11 V; distortion has been changed from 0.25 to 0.2%; R64 has been removed; instrument has detachable rubber feet; all 10% resistors have been changed into 5% resistors and all 2% resistors have been changed into 1% resistors; Paper capacitors C8, C10, C11 and C12 have been changed into polyester (mylar) capacitors.

    The documentation specifies (Philips-specific) coaxial connectors but photographs show N-connectors.
