4 valve plus 1 transistor broadcast (MW) superhet with RF stage hybrid receiver functioning from a 12 volt HT supply. A power unit is therefore not required and the receiver, supplied connected for positive earth systems, has a positive chassis potential. If required,the receiver can be connected for a negative earth system- see schematic.
