• Bemerkung

• Typical 1928 to 1934 "S.G." (Screen Grid i.e. RF Tetrode), "Det" (Triode detector), LF (Triode audio amp) type TRF kit. With stronger stations and suitable output triode a Reed Speaker or Transformer + Moving coil can be driven. The Output Grid bias needs adjusted according to type or load or output triode.

  The "novel" feature of this model is a miniature "Westector" Metal Rectifier  for a degree of "automatic" bias on the output valve (tube) to reduce HT consumption. See Murphy BU183A for 1950s version of "sliding" bias. Volume control is a 10K potentiometer with an on/off switch on the aerial input.

  Base board + ebonite panel construction with optional box/cabinet.

  Tapped HT such as Winner 120 . (75 to 80V tap).
  Grid Battery 16.5V or two Winner 9 in series.

  Optional Mains Supply kit in same September 30th 1933 Issue, for HT only.
