A 22 cm / 9 inch (8 x 6 inch visible size) round CRT "Black Screen" B/W 405 lines console TV with a single channel GB VHF band I tuner, aligned to the Birmingham (Sutton Coldfield) transmitter channel 4. Sensitivity 175 µV/ sound 50µV. Power consumption 100 - 125 W. Released September 1950 price £38 11s 8d plus purchase tax,See also the similar Pye LV30C London model aligned to the Crystal Palace transmitter (transmitting lower and upper vision carrier side bands) and the Pye BV30 table version.
