A month ago, I have purchased on eBay an unusual version of Radione R2 receiver:

It has common Radione R2 tuning dial with all the cities listed, yet its tuning knob is like ER2 tuning knob, and inside my new R2 has a worm and a pair of gear wheels (Schnecke and Zahnrad) exactly as in ER2:

In ordinary civilian R2 there is a thread (Faden) inside, not a worm and gear wheels:

Also there are two tumblers (switches) on the top like in ER2 receiver which means my new R2 must have BFO inside.

The label at the bottom is also quite unusual --- no address of Ing. Nikolaus Eltz but rather "Hersteller: bo" which was Radione military manufacturer's code (Wehrmacht Fertigungskode).

Even on my Radione ER2 which was manufactured for Luftwaffe, the label looks like on ordinary civil R2 receivers:

Could anyone say what version of Radione R2 have I purchased?

Is that R2D by any chance??

There is no picture of Radione R2D on this site, yet it is mentioned that R2D must have BFO...
