  • Radio Shack Realistic Patrolman with AM (535-1605 KHz) and VHF (30-50 MHz) which was the Police / Emergency band of that era.  10 transistors.  Telescoping VHF antenna with red tip.  Wrist strap. External AC power jack, plus earphone jack.

    Introduced by Radio Shack (RS) in the 1967 RS "Expansion Sales" Catalog (p12).  Last appeared in 1970 RS Annual Catalog (p7), replaced in 1971 by Patrolman Model 12-629

    Identical in appearance to Patrolman Model 12-627.  Model 12-627 recieves a higher band of VHF (147-175 MHz) and has 11 transistors.
