The RCA 648PV is an AC operated, 49 tube combination phonograph, AM/FM/SW radio and b/w Projection TV console with US standard VHF Tuner channels 2 thru 13. A reflective optical system provides a 15" x 20" picture on the screen. Equipped with TV RF/IF chassis KCS24A-1, horizontal deflection chassis KRS20-1, TV power supply chassis KRS21A-1, audio amplifier chassis RS123B, optical barrel chassis KRK-1A. radio chassis RK121-A and picture tube 5TP4. The optical barrel chassis KRK-1A is used only for the optics and contains no tubes. The cabinet was available in Walnut or Mahogany.
