Hello all....I just wanted to share repair tips on this model. I received set with loud hum, that was not effected by volume control. I changed all caps . On the chassis are 3 'can' capacitors. One has its ground to chassis, the other two do not ( be aware of this, because the riders schematic is hard to read) After changing them, the hum was gone, but the set did not play. On check of voltages, I was not getting any screen voltages on 6K7 or 6A8. There is a voltage divider resistor mounted on chassis. I disconnected all leads to it, and found two sections were open ( 13K, and 3.5K ) . Replaced with 10 watt resistors, and she came to life! A good sounding radio, with fine tone, and sensitivity. Now to refinish the veneer!      Al Pugliese
