  • The RCA SHF-5 is an AC operated 5 tube mono record player with automatic 4 speed record changer.  Has Qty(2) PM 3.5" tweeters and Qty(2) PM 12" woofers. Uses record changer RP-205C-2 which operates at 16 2/3, 33 1/2, 45 or 78 rpm speeds.  Record capacity is up to fifteen 7 inch, twelve 10 inch, ten 12 inch or ten intermixed 10 inch and 12 inch records.

    Cabinet was available in Mahogany, Maple or Oak.

    The RCA 9-T-1 AM-FM tuner (using 8 tube chassis RC-1155A) was available as an accessory for the SHF-5.

    The RCA SHF-4 was similar to the SHF-5 but had a factory installed 9-T-1 tuner.
