Crystal detector receiver similar in general layout to the standard JR model but fitted with an additional small loop or link winding mounted beside the detector assembly. This loop is positioned to act as a connection point for an external long‑wave loading coil, allowing the set to tune lower frequencies than the standard version. The remainder of the construction matches the basic model, with a polished wooden base, black top panel, tuning coil and crystal detector. The loop is the only structural difference visible between known examples.
