  • Anotaciones
  • Crystal detector receiver similar in general layout to the standard JR model but fitted with an additional small loop or link winding mounted beside the detector assembly. This loop is positioned to act as a connection point for an external long‑wave loading coil, allowing the set to tune lower frequencies than the standard version. The remainder of the construction matches the basic model, with a polished wooden base, black top panel, tuning coil and crystal detector. The loop is the only structural difference visible between known examples.

    Technical data:
Passive crystal receiver with a single tuned circuit and an auxiliary loop intended for connection of an external long‑wave loading coil. Crystal detector with adjustable cat‑whisker. Terminals for aerial, earth and phones. Provides extended tuning capability when used with a suitable LW coil.

    Notes:
This variant differs from the standard JR crystal receiver by the presence of the auxiliary loop beside the detector, which serves as a mounting or connection point for a long‑wave loading coil. No other circuit differences are evident. As with the standard version, no printed documentation has been located, and the description is based on physical examination of extant units.
