  • Remarques
  • The two speakers are 8 and 12 inch. There is also the same cabinet and probably chassis as "revised" model Silvertone 1722 and there is a model Silvertone 1722 without revision. We do not know yet the differences between the revised 1722 / 1732 and the 1722X. Rider's shows all three seperately. One 6B7 serves for the "Flasher", the other for the AVC. The 56 is the oscillator - with problematic short wave capabilities. Push-pull output. The revision is mainly for a better short wave sensibility with a 78 resistance-capacity coupled IF stage added and the 37 detector and 37 first audio replaced by a 85 tube which does the same functions. The ON-OFF-switch is a duplex for allowing shorting out the added IF when selecting the broadcast band. Rider's shows us 3 separate schematics - and we reflect that with 3 models.
