  • Sears Silvertone 60 is a new 8-tube "All Electric Receiver", a Neutrodyne "designed by Professor Alexander Senauke". The steel chassis is fitted also with a high and low voltage adjustor and heavy potted and sealed transformers. Single illuminated scale for meters and kilocycles with escutcheon in old bronze color, phonograph pic-up jack. The Silvertone 60 is housed in a "cabinet of the petite Low-Boy type", but when we look at it, we consider it to be a High-Boy. "Selected hardwood, with walnut finish, beautifully highlighted". The speaker grille of the "super magnetic speaker" is backed "with rich gold color grille cloth".
Order number 57V 4102 - 1/4 is with all tubes and aerial equipment, $ 79.50. 57V 4103 1/4 is with easy payment: $ 10 "down" cash and $ 8.50 per month until paid $ 87.50. The same model could be ordered with a transoformer for 25 to 30 cycles for the same price - which can be used in fact also for 60 cycles. See details and summaries about Sears catalogs etc.
