  • Notes
  • The Goldentone 41 is an AC/DC operated 4 tube BC band receiver.  The BC band frequency tuning range is 540-1710kHz. This model was furnished with a 25' antenna wire. An adapter was available to allow operation from 220V. Cabinet is steel with burl walnut bakelite finish.

This set has a 3 wire resistive line cord, commonly called a "Curtain Burner".  The resistive wire had a 145 Ohm resistance.  Care should be used if operating this radio with the original cord, as the cord generates significant heat.

This model was manufacturered for Goldentone by the Simplex Radio Corporation. The Simplex model V is the chassis used for this radio.
