    Das Modell hat eine Auto-Taste, die bei MW und LW die Ferritantenne abschaltet.

    Im Jahrgang 1961/62 wird Tonfunk BT62UML mit der Transistorbestückung 2x OC171, 3x OC170, OC71, OC75 und 2x OC74 angeboten. Die AM-ZF ändert sich von 460 zu 455 kHz. Die AM-Kreiszahl wird irrtümlich mit 8 angegeben. Der Preis beträgt nun 228,- DM.
