Gerät hat rückseitig 5-polige Systembuchse für Tonfunk UKW-Geräte anzustecken, beschaltet mit 6,3 V für Heizung, Masse, und 240 V Anodenspannung. Für die NF wird der TA-Eingang beutzt, weshalb am Wellenschalter TA/UKW steht.
Auch interessant, die EM4 wird als NF-Vorstufe benutzt, daher ist Ihr Sockel mitsamt Koppelkondensatoren im Metallgehäuse untergebracht.
Am Netzspannungswähler ist 220V+240V gebrückt, 150V frei, 110V + 125V gehen zum Trafo als getrennte Leitungen.
Der Katalog des Rundfunk-Grosshandels nennt abweichend ein Gewicht von 10 kg. Die Modellbezeichnung laut Katalog ist Violetta H, die spätere Ausgabe des Tonfunk-Schemas nennt Violetta WH. Es handelt sich um dasselbe Modell.
