The Uniden PC22 is a remote‑mount 27 MHz AM CB transceiver designed so the main radio chassis can be hidden under a seat or in the dash, while all controls are built into the microphone. This made it popular for clean installations in cars where space was tight or where drivers wanted a “stealth” CB setup.
The radio itself is a full 40‑channel AM CB set, but the user interface lives entirely in the handpiece — channel selection, volume, squelch, and PTT. The main box is essentially the RF deck and power section.
