  • Stereo-Radio-Recorder RMS-451 empfängt FM nach OIRT (65 - 74 MHz) und hat 2 eingebaute Mikrofone. Frequenzgang Kassette 60 Hz - 10 kHz. Ausgangsleistung 2x 1 Watt.

    Lizenzfertigung der Grundig Radio-Werke, das Ursprungsmodell ist RR 450. Exportiert nach D und vertrieben von HGS Münster als RRS-4050 mit UKW/FM nach CCIR.

    Besides the discrete transistor devices handling the cassette section and FM front-end, the receiver  section uses four integrated circuits:

    • 1 x U416B FM IF/MUX and AM Receiver, by TFK (AEG-Telefunken)
    • 1 x MC1309 FM stereo decoder
    • 2 x UL1482K audio power amplifier, by UNITRA (eq. to TBA820 II on 14-QIP package)

    The U416B  IC is seen on other brand models, like the SABA Cassette Clock 5.

From the UNITRA service manual it seems that there is one additional IC used for motor speed stabilization  besides the four other IC's used on the receiver section.

This is the UNITRA UL1901, installed on a small PCB attached to the motor case. It is still possible to find the datasheet for the UL1901 in the Internet, but could not find any equivalents.

I do not have this radio model, but would like to have some additional information from owners of this model concerning the motor driver.
