Twin-triode low-power transmitting oscillator, capable of operation up to 60MHz full ratings and up to 160MHz at 50% ratings. 10 W plate power dissipation.
Originally designed for VHF remote model control. Not sure but probably part of the project undertook by Percy Spencer at Raytheon to control toy airplane models. Later it was widely used in IFF tranponders.
