Description

Pulse power tetrode intended for radar modulators. Uprated 715B with corona guarding ring on plate cap. Grid top cooling fins removed and cooling provided by copper connections to the base pins. 20 kV, 15 A peak, 60 W average pulse handling capability. Heaters designed to operate directly from the aircraft storage battery, between 22 and 28.5 V.
Could be replaced by 715C.
Also made by Raytheon, RCA, STC.
