Description

Vom Hersteller als "Doppelgitterröhre" bezeichnet. Sie wird als selbstschwingende Mischröhre in Superhets Anfang der 30er Jahre betrieben. In der allgemeinen Anwendung liegt das katodennahe Gitter 1 im Oszillatorkreis, das Gitter 2 erhält das Empfangssignal. Die Verstärkung ist nur gering und nicht regelbar, die Oszillatorspannung koppelt stark auf den Antennenkreis. Da das erste Gitter nicht weitmaschig und/oder mit dünnem Draht gewickelt ist, ist eine Anwendung der Röhre in der Raumladegitterschaltung (wegen des hohen Irg und der hohen Heizleistung) für Rundfunkempfang nicht anzutreffen.
