Eisen-Urdox-Regelwiderstand. Gilt nicht als Röhre, hat aber Röhrenform. Wichtig: Je nach verwendeter Netzspannung ist der richtige Typ (römische Zahl) einzusetzen! Urdox steht für Urandioxyd! Auszug aus "Radios von gestern" Seite 328: Eisen-Urdox-Widerstände (EU) tragen meist einen Röhrensockel. Gemäss [603609] sind diese Widerstände vor magnetischen Einflüssen (Lautsprecher) zu schützen, was die Industrie mit einem aus Eisenblech bestehenden Schutzmantel erreicht. Dieser Mantel ist mit Innenrippen versehen, damit die Wärme gut abziehen kann. Leider fehlt er heute oft.
