| Description |
A Potentialoscope is a storage CRT used in moving target indicators (MTI) associated with radar receivers. The CRT works by recording a radar trace as a spiral trace on its target. When a second trace is stored, depending on whether a point was already stored or not a signal will be produced. This signal can be used to determine whether a point has moved.
