Description |
Chronotron tube. The tube contains two heaters and two electrically isolated thermistor elements. Connected in the circuit of a low frequency oscillator, it controls the period by thermal feedback. TT-15 has 1000 ohms heaters and 500 ohms temperature sensing resistors, 130 sec time constant.
Also used in bridge circuits for measuring RMS value of an arbitrary waveform, compared with a known DC current flowing in the opposite branch.
