Description Work started on development of this tube at the GE laboratories in April, 1928. and the type number was assigned to it in August of that year. It was announced to the public in 1929. The tube was a 10 kilowatt water cooled triode with a mu of 50 and was capable of full output of 1.6 MHz. The UV207 was the same tube but with a mu of 20..
