Description

Work started on this tube at the G E laboratories in March 1919 and the type number was assigned to it in 1922 (?). It was available in 1923. This tube is water cooled and the water jacket has the type number UT-1285. The plate voltage was 15000 and dissipation 7500 watts max. The tube had two flying leads on the top and the grid conection on the side. The tube was not part of the RCA tube line and by 1938 the tube was being sold as a 'renewal type.
