La lampe 35W4 est un redresseur mono alternance utilisable dans les appareils secteur ayant les chauffages des lampes branchés en série. Le filament de chauffage a une connexion internédiaire permettant le branchement d'une ampoule d'éclairage du cadran.
Avec une ampoule d'éclairage cadran entre les broches 4 et 6 et pas de résistance de shuntage, la sortie courant continu maximum est de 66 mA. Avec une ampoule de cadran et une résistance de shuntage de 250 ohm, le courant maximum passe à 100 mA.
