History:

In 1954, construction of a $400,000 plant in Don Mills, suburb of Toronto, was finished.

The Canadian subsidiary was sold to Chicago based Trav-Ler Radio Corp in Feb. 1955 and the name left unchanged. In addition to producing the Trav-Ler line, the acquired company continued production under its own name. Under a separate franchise agreement, they imported and distributed short-wave equipment made by Hallicrafters Co. in Chicago.

In November 1962, The Hallicrafters Canada Limited was incorprated.

In (at least 1963) Hallicrafter products were sold in Canada by Gould Sales Co, Montral, PQ.

The company was dissolved February 1976.
