Thank you very much for your comment

In this case, the screws are fitted with a metal threat Enclose I made a sketch

In Metric measurements it would be not a problem to identify.

I like to find out the right name for it screw with the American Inch measurement

Hello,

These are metric lens-senkhead screws or in German Linsen-Senkkopf-Schrauben.

Regards,

Rolf

The Biritsh standard that can be found on some old UK devices would be Whitworth aka BSW British Standard Whitworth, or BSF British Standard Fine.

In America, the corresponding standard is UNF (see Wikipedia) but the manufacturer might have used something else for this model at that time.

The shape is called oval or raised head (in the UK "raised countersunk").
You're probably looking at a #6-40 or #8-36 screw, depending on accuracy of measurements.

Your best bet is to send a sample to a seller to make sure you buy something fitting -- unless you can reliably determine the threads per inch and pitch.

Hope that helps, and good luck,
Mark

Hello Mark

Thanks a lot for your detailed information.

I measured the screw carefully

It should be it one :

Now I’m going to find a supplier

Best regards from Ireland
