  • Aerovox L-C Checker Model 95 has the following features:

    • Alignment of RF circuits, IF narrow and broad band, Tuning wavetraps, etc.
    • Capacitor Range: 400pF to 1uF, +/-10%
    • Frequency Range: 60 kHz to 26 MHz in 6 Ranges
    • In-circuit Testing
    • Magic Eye Tuning Indicatior

    Note: This model is powered by the AC main but is not transformer isolated from the circuit or chassis.  While the AC Neutral or Line (original plug was non-polarized) is isolated from the chassis by a capacitor, that original capacitor was not a safety grade (X1/Y2 type for example) and most likely bad which may result in high voltage on the chassis and probe tip.  Severe personal injury and Unit-Under-Test (UUT) circuitry damage may occur if this model is used without proper safety restoration first.  Using an AC isolation transformer is still suggested for safety, even after proper restoration.
