This series of radios which were produced in a range of colours from 1939 till 1940 and brown from 1941 till 1946 have become known to collectors as the “Egg crate” models after the distinctive square holes in the speaker grill.

Readily available Colours were Ivory, Black, Walnut and Green.

Rare colours of Blue and Pink, “Radio Days” by P Sheridan and R Singer, page 97, are known to exist and were possibly only manufactured in limited numbers for special Dealer/show promotions.
