  • Swiss Army variant of the American SCR-536 / BC-611 "walkie talkie" type wireless set. In the USA also the term "Handy Talkie" was used.

The first sets of the series have been acquired from American Army surplus, the later are reported to have been produced under license by Autophon.

The Swiss sets carry the "Autophon, Kleinfunkgerät FOX" typeplate. There are other countries which made such "walkie-talkie" like in France the model "Emetteur Recepteur BC-611-F" (No. 5820 193 7101, Marchè No 175/9) in November 1959, made by L.G.T. St-Cloud.

A similar model was produced in Italy by Ditta Perinelli E. Peschiera del G. in 1958. The model was SCR/536.
