This model shares the same schematics with model 'Universal Export' and model 'X' (Model x is realized with Rimlock tubes). The frontend with 7 spreaded short wave bands is identical in all 3 models.
The RF preamplifier pentode is active only on short waves reception.
The spreading is achieved by shift of cores of the short wave coils.
The mechanical chassis is similar in all 3 models.
