  • Annotazioni
  • The Capehart model 300 series were introduced for season 1933/34 with the model 300B Deauville - for one season only. Follower was 301C Riviera in 1934/34. Then came 302D Versailles for 1935/36 only, Models 304E Moderne and 305E Georgian (1936/37) and 304F Moderne and 305F Georgian (1937/38). The last were 306G Sheraton (1838/39) and 306H Sheraton (1939/40).
See here the "Common information for the Capehart model pages for the 1930s and 1940s".
Short overviews with links like this overview - for 100 Series, 200 Series, 300 Series, 400 Series, 500 Series and plain cabinets 1600 and 160 (and accessories) - see in these links.

The Radio and Amplifier chassis can be different in each cabinet and year. They all have a turning changer Capehart 16-E. The Series 300 models were normally taller but also narrower than series 400 models because the changer is situated under the radio chassis rather than to the right of it, the radio chassis are often simpler and the whole set was cheaper than series 400.

This page for Capehart Series 300 was created to be able to collect 3XX models for which we are not sure of the exact model the pictures belong to. Later we can list here all 300 series models which show pictures - and we might leave pictures here for which we found the model and copied it (them) to the correct model page, then showing a link here (at the end).
Radio Collector's Guide 1921-1932, Grinder 1955 and Stein mention a model 300 for 1932, which we will have to clear.
