401 Chinese Chippendale
The first model Series 400 uses the two chassis: 8076 tuner and 8078 PSU (PSU = power supply). The 4 AF output tubes are in parallel push-pull.
In the season 1931/32 Capehart has made a model 400 style Chippendale for $ 1095, a model 401 style Chinese Chippendale for $ 995 and a model 402 style Adam for $ 895. These were the only models for ths first season, followed by 400A, 401A, 402A and (late) a new style 404 Chateau. McMahon shows two entries for the same price: either 4 x 45 or 4 x 47 output tubes.
