Capehart model Junior 5 with "10-12" changer
This model 5 is a coin operated record changer with the simple drop system "10-12" and the model 6 is the same without coin operation. Both have the same Walnut cabinet with Satinwood veneers.
The inexpensive and simple drop-type changer "10-12" was introduced by Capehart in 1931. It was used in coin operating models like model Junior 5 (sometimes simply called model 5) or without coin operation but otherwise the same is model 6 and cheaper model 1000. The changer can also be found in some radio consoles like model 15 (TRF) and model 15S (superhet in same cabinet), model 20 (TRF) and model 20S (superhet). Hopefully folders or ads will be found for completing the list.
