  • This was the first Talking Book player made by Clarke & Smith using a tape player. This player works with a special cartridge containing the reproduction head. The player only contains the motors and the audio amplifier. One spindle working at the speed of 15 rpm couples its movement to the cartridge tape transport mechanism.
