Electrice E436RP Portable Record Player
Battery operated, four-speed, four-transistor portable phonograph housed in a moulded two-tone carrying case. Colours available in twilight blue, fiesta red or sage.
Features: record player is a BSR Type TU12B; pick-up cartridge and stylus is BSR Type CS1. Loudspeaker, 6" x 4" elliptical; voice coil impedance 15 ohms. Controls, tone/on-off.
Power supply from two Eveready Type 276P (9 volts) batteries - one for amplifier and one for the record player motor. The two battery method provides electrical isolation and prevents motor commutator from reaching sensitive input stage of the amplifier. Also available for AC mains; Model E435RP.
