  First Transistor-radio made in Poland.

  Long wave band preset to one station only - Warsaw I (1322 m.) - The first transistor radio designed in 1958 and built on a PC board in Poland in 1959. It employed imported Telefunken transistors at first and then Philips transistors. Other components were made in Poland. Only a few hundred radios were manufactured. After one year the output stage of the radio was modified to "single-ended-push-pull" increasing the output power from 30 mW to 80 mW and a new radio called Koliber was born in 1961.
