  • See the "Assorted decorator colors" on separate model pages to enable a collector to show his/her different colored models in the collector page by uploading a photo of each to the corresponding page - and allows RMorg to show a full gallery if wished in a later stage.

The clock-radio Emerson 724 was sold in these colors: Cherry Red, Hot Chocolate, Forest Green, Cloud Gray, Ivory, Cerulean Blue, Sand (Pink), Willow Green (a very light Green), and Ebony. Today we have to be careful if a set is not overpainted or to think there is a missing color here because his/her set is bleached out. Depending on case color there may be different colored knobs.
The add from a 1953 paper reads: You get so much more with Emerson! Nine Smart "House and Garden"colors. A percision electric Alarm-Clock with Easy-See Dial (one glance tells you time and station) A beam light indicator- helps you dial in the dark!

The models show at the back side a timer outlet for up to 1100 watts at 115 volts AC and a radio switch. Model 808-B and 810-B have a similar cabinet and chassis - wothout clock. Internal ferrite rod antenna.

According to Beitman diagrams the chassis is 120151-B, but we don't know if this is the case for all series. The model 724 is known for series B (724-B) and series D (724-D). See sticker at the bottom.
