  • Anotaciones
  • This radio is a remake of the Ferris 134 released some 18 months earlier. The transistors differ.. Externally the mounting of the front and back grills differs and there is a tiny “MKII” on the lower left of the fascia. A tone control has been added.

Incidentally, the model designation appears nowhere in the radio but does appear in the manufacturer’s advertising.

There are 2 diodes 1N440B in the power supply area; they work as a reverse polarity protection when the receiver is powered from the car battery. Correct polarity is indicated by an illuminated dial.

Weight and other dimensions are identical with the original 134 and it takes the same Eveready Type 2364 battery.
